Forgiven by Jesus

Jesus, God all knowing,

Holy Spirit wind is blowing.

Jesus knows how it all began,

And all things are in his hand.

In Jesus, everything does by his command,

And through his hands all things sift like sand.

You saw the end from the beginning,

The harsh, the brutal and all the sinning!

Along with all the beauty because you made everything.

There’s not anything you don’t know because you are the only king!

Your death on the cross and resurrection, Jesus, was for all to be saved.

For through the way of darkness, a lighted path you paved.

God doesn’t want anybody to perish in their sin.

Come to the cross and the blood of Jesus and be forgiven.

Of course, there are trials in life because of situations and encounters.

But praise be to God. Because of Christ, we’re believing overcomers!

Through the rain and the storms, God watches over me.

Some storms may be ferocious, but in Jesus Christ I’m free!

You also can be forgiven and walk free in victory.

But you must come to the cross, the only cross of Jesus at Calvary!

When you close your eyes one day and take your final breath.

You’ll either see Heaven’s door or Hell’s eternal death.

You can pick your choice now, and I’m sure which one you’d choose.

You can only pick while you’re living as you’re hearing this “good news!”

You’ve been walking in this world so long.

Maybe you’ve never had an internal song.

So much has happened in your life that’s disheartening.

Perhaps you feel you’re not worthy of any pardoning.

But let me tell you, friend, there’s only one who’s worthy.

His name is above all others, and he is deserving,

Of all the praise and honor we could ever give.

See my friend, he died on that cross so that you could live!

Ask Jesus today as you believe in and repent to him.

Your words don’t need to be fancy, proper or prim.

God knows your heart and how you’re sincere.

Just give it all to Jesus with no fear!

Receive now by faith, believing Jesus’ peace and his redeeming grace.

Thank the Lord for his mercy and forgiveness with salvation’s eternal place!

Now in your life, you’ll still encounter unpredictable life storms.

But now you’re walking safely with Jesus — the master who knows all its forms!

You will forever have a 24/7 best friend,

A good shepherd who cares and to your needs will tend.

Read your Bible and gather together with other believers in Christ.

You’ll find others just like you, not perfect yet forgiven by Jesus, who paid our price!
