Farm Bureau launches new tire recycling program
The Tuscarawas County Farm Bureau is launching a recycling initiative to support the agriculture community and promote environmental sustainability. Beginning Aug. 4, members have the opportunity to recycle agricultural tires at a fraction of the cost.
The program is offered in partnership with the Tuscarawas County Health Department, OSU Extension of Tuscarawas County and Black Bounce Rubber & Tire. Recycling prices start as low as $1 per tire.
“Tire disposal can pose a significant financial challenge, and we are committed to providing a responsible solution,” said Jim Rowe, Tuscarawas County Farm Bureau president. “Members in our ag community will have the opportunity to clean up their farms and rid themselves of ag tires at a significant cost savings.” Event details
