East Ohio Women in Ag Conference set for March 21
For the 10th year, Ohio State University Extension will empower women high school-age and beyond through its East Ohio Women in Agriculture Conference on March 21 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Shisler Conference Center, 1680 Madison Ave., Wooster.
This year’s program will feature 24 breakout sessions in six tracks including plants, animals, business and marketing, home and family, special interest, and personal development. These sessions will be presented by Ohio State University Extension educators, farmers, industry professionals and partner agencies.
International speaker, author and farm coach Elaine Froese is traveling from her home farm in Manitoba, Canada to speak at the conference. Froese will present Living an Intentional Life and teach a breakout session to help tackle tough family conversations. She will have Coach on Call individual sessions available throughout the day. Every participant also will receive two of Froese’s books in electronic format and a hard copy of her book, “Farming’s In-Law Factor.” Learn more about Froese at www.elainefroese.com.
