Discount card fundraiser helps support man in need of kidney

Community members have an opportunity to support Tyler Cox in his journey with kidney disease by purchasing a $20 discount card that offers more than $450 in savings at local businesses.

Each card sold helps offset Cox’s ongoing medical and transplant-related expenses. The fundraiser provides a practical way to give back. For $20 buyers receive discounts at area restaurants, shops and service providers. Cards are valid through June 2026.

Cards can be purchased at the following locations:

—Strasburg United Methodist Church, 330-878-5179.

—Schoenbrunn Moravian Church, 330-339-1940.

—The Willis Group Realty, 330-440-3253.

—Elite Tire, 330-364-6655 (cash only).

Buyers are encouraged to call ahead to check hours at each location.

For those unable to pick up a card in person, mailing is available. Call Alicia Cox at 330-987-0736 to order. Accepted payment methods include cash, PayPal, Venmo or check payable to Tyler Cox.

All proceeds go directly to support Cox’s medical journey. Organizers thank the community for their generosity and compassion.
