Cline powers West Holmes girls to 54-25 win over Mansfield Senior

West Holmes rolled to a 54-25 victory over Mansfield Senior in Ohio Cardinal Conference girls basketball action Dec. 6.

Briar Cline (18 points, three assists), Lilli Brown (10 points), Zalina Proper (eight points, six rebounds), Cara McMillen (six points, six rebounds), Mati Fair (four steals) and Rorie Wilcox (four rebounds, three steals) led the Lady Knights.

New Philadelphia picked up a 47-34 win over West Holmes in OCC play Dec. 3.

Proper (15 points), Cline (nine points, four rebounds) and Wilcox (five points, six rebounds) paced WH.

Boys basketball

Mansfield Senior cruised to an 89-55 win over West Holmes in an OCC clash Dec. 5.

Nate Sprang led WH with 21 points and 10 rebounds. Coi Beachy added eight points and five rebounds while Keston McKinney chipped in eight points and five boards.

Junior varsity girls basketball

New Philadelphia beat West Holmes 28-9 on Dec. 3.

Mari Patterson (three points) and Emma McDonnell (five rebounds) led WH.
