Car and Truck Show to benefit veterans, children
The American Legion Post 68 will host its fourth annual Car and Truck Show on Sunday, June 1 at 1901 Sylvan Road in Wooster. Registration will run from 11 a.m. to noon, with the event taking place from noon to 3 p.m. Awards and prize drawings will be held at 3 p.m. A rain date is scheduled June 8.
Registration is $10 per vehicle. The first 50 cars will receive dash plaques. Raffle prizes will be awarded, along with first-, second- and third-place People’s Choice Awards, sponsored by Apple Creek Drive Thru.
Proceeds will benefit the Veterans Home, veterans’ services and the Toys for Tots program.
Music will be provided by Rich the Lincoln Man. Food will be available from Sons of the American Legion; Boots, Paws, & Troops; the Ladies Auxiliary; and Eat at Joe’s.
