Orrville Public Library’s Cookbook Club selection for August is “Feeding Humanity, Feeding Hope.” This is World Central Kitchen’s first cookbook and was created from the many places the Relief Team has cooked following disasters. Each chapter reflects a value of the organization. The cookbook includes food that can be eaten on the go, as well as comforting soups and stews. It was chosen as Best Cookbook of the Year by Food Network, The Boston Globe, NPR, Los Angeles Times, Epicurious and Wired. Check out a copy of the cookbook, then prepare a dish or two to share with others, potluck style. The Cookbook Club will meet at 6 p.m. Monday, Aug. 25. No registration is needed.

This free session will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 4, and is for those 16 and older. Registration begins Aug. 21 and can be completed by clicking on the event on the website calendar or by contacting the Information Desk at 330-683-1065.
