Art on the Alley returns May 4 for eighth season
Art on the Alley is set to return for its eighth season Sunday, May 4 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in downtown New Philadelphia. The event showcases the talent of local artists through visual art, live performances and interactive experiences.
This year’s festival will feature more than 135 artists, nonprofit organizations, food vendors and downtown merchants. In addition to the variety of artist and maker vendors, the festival will include three outdoor stages with live performances and performances and demonstrations inside Fresh the Market and Alley Cats Marketplace.
A Kids Zone will be set up on the front lawn of the Tuscarawas County Public Library System, and Divine Harmony will entertain guests with stilt walking near The Venue.
Art on the Alley recognizes its Diamond Level presenting sponsor, Tucson Inc., for its support. Gold level sponsorship is provided by My Museum Tattoo Studio. Silver level sponsors include McDonald’s, Ohio Star Theater, and Solace Relaxation Massage, Float Spa & Esthetics.
Bronze level sponsors are Caleb Robinson DDS; Cleveland Clinic Union Hospital; Custom Needle-Print; First Federal Community Bank; Krugliak, Wilkins, Griffiths & Dougherty Co., LPA; Miller & Miller Insurance; the Performing Arts Center at Kent State Tuscarawas; and Stutzman Lawn & Landscaping.
Copper level sponsors include Gradall Industries, Hawk Family Dental, House of Stones, J.R. Luxury Bath and Plumbing Inc., McInturf Realty, Moore & Neidenthal Inc., Nelson Insurance — Seibert Keck, and The Eye Doctors, Steve Maurer and Matt Hurst.
In the event of thunderstorms, the festival will be rescheduled Sunday, May 18.
