Uniontown scrapbooking fundraiser set for March 21

Grace United Church of Christ hosts crafting event with registration open for limited spots

Grace United Church of Christ in Uniontown will host a scrapbooking and card-making fundraiser March 21, with advance registration required.

Attention, area crafters: Registration is open for the spring Scrapbooking and Card-Making Fundraiser on Saturday, March 21, at Grace United Church of Christ in Uniontown. The event offers time to scrapbook family photos and create handmade cards.

Advance registration is required to reserve a craft table from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Call Sandie Sourwine at 330-472-6369 to register. Space is limited and the event typically sells out. Participants may register as a group or individually.

The $30 per person fee includes use of one 8-foot table for nine hours, snacks, a sandwich and salad bar lunch, hourly door prize drawings, and access to Cricut and Sizzix die-cutting and Cuttlebug embossing machines, more than 100 punches and various stencils.

Doors open at 8:30 a.m. for registered participants, with helpers available to assist with unloading and moving supplies.

A raffle of themed baskets will also be held. Participants need not be present to win. Raffle tickets are $1 each or six for $5 and may be purchased throughout the day.

Grace UCC Uniontown is located at 13275 Cleveland Ave., a quarter mile north of the intersection of Route 619 and Cleveland Avenue, across from Lake Primary School.
