Uniontown Lions to host Lake school board candidate forum Oct. 8

The Uniontown Lions Club will host a public event Oct. 8 to introduce the candidates running for the Lake Local School District Board of Education.

The forum will take place at 7 p.m. at Uniontown Community Park, 3696 Apollo St. Five candidates are on the ballot: David Barrett, Adam Doane, Jeff Finefrock, Niki Johnson and Caitlin Spano.

Each candidate will have up to 10 minutes to share information about their background and qualifications for the position. The format does not include a question-and-answer session.

In addition to hearing from the candidates, attendees can also learn more about the Uniontown Lions’ community activities, membership opportunities and ways to volunteer in support of the club’s events.

The forum is free and open to the public.
