Uniontown Lions Club donates to Pegasus Farm

Members tour Hartville equestrian center, induct new members

The Uniontown Lions Club met Feb. 25 at Pegasus Farm Equestrian Center for its regular meeting, with more than 30 members in attendance. Members enjoyed a meal from Chipotle and desserts from Hartville Kitchen.

Missy Howard provided a history of Pegasus Farm and discussed its programs before leading a tour of the equestrian center. Pegasus Farm has more than 200 volunteers and 34 horses serving the community.

For 40 years, Pegasus Farm has provided therapeutic equestrian programs, vocational services, and recreational and social activities designed to support and empower people with diverse needs.

During the meeting, the Uniontown Lions Club presented a $500 check to Pegasus Farm.

The club also inducted three new members.
