Stark State College to host April open houses

Stark State College invites students, parents and adults considering a new career to attend upcoming spring open houses.

The events will be held from 5-7 p.m. April 8 at Stark State College Akron, 360 Perkins St., and April 16 on the main campus, 6200 Frank Ave. NW in North Canton.

Guests can learn about the admissions process, explore more than 200 associate degrees and certificates, meet faculty and staff, learn about student services and take campus tours.

Financial aid staff will be available to assist with scholarships and aid options. Open FAFSA labs will be held from 3-5 p.m. prior to each event, offering one-on-one help completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid.
