The Lake Township Chamber of Commerce is hosting three local candidate forums this month, giving residents the opportunity to hear directly from those seeking public office in Hartville and Lake Township.
The second forum took place Monday, Oct. 7, at the Hartville Kitchen and featured six candidates competing for two Lake Township trustee seats: David Chambers, Aaron Floom, Sue Grabowski, Jeff Miller, Carter Ridgway and incumbent Jeremy Yoder.
The event was live-streamed and recorded by students from the GenYES IT program at Lake Middle/High School. The recording is available on the Chamber’s Facebook page at facebook.com/lakechamber.
All candidates were invited to attend and participate. The forums were moderated by Chamber President Chip Weisel, with questions prepared and sent to participants in advance. Each candidate was given equal time to respond.
The third and final forum is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 15, at 6:30 p.m. at the Comfort Suites hotel and featured candidates for the Lake Local Board of Education.
