Warsaw alumni gather at annual banquet
Alumni from the former Warsaw High School gathered for a banquet.

Warsaw High School Alumni held its 115th banquet on Aug. 2 at
the Coshocton Christian Tabernacle with 115 registered members, guests and
former teachers attending.
Ward Mowery, Class of '55, gave the invocation. Dinner was
prepared and served by Schumaker Farms Catering.
Mary Ann Conrad Gill ('63) shared background information on
the growth of the scholarship program and announced the scholarship committee:
Jim Lawrence, Bee Buxton Lehner, Mary Ann Conrad Gill, Bob Buxton and Brenda
Strouse Davis.
A total of $11,235 was contributed toward scholarships for 2025.
The awards are as follows:
—2025 Warsaw Alumni Scholarship: $1,000 to Tru Berry,
daughter of Trent and Toni Berry, and Kynsington McMasters, daughter of Rob and
Raychel McMasters.
—Clodaugh Brenneman Cline Scholarship: $1,000 to Laired
Williamson, son of Laired Dale and Erica Williamson.
—Dick & Mary Lawrence
Memorial Scholarship: $1,000 to Micah Hardesty, son of Jason and Renee Hardesty.
—Conrad Family Memorial Grant: $3,000 to Ally Fischer, daughter of Corey and Christine
Fischer.
—David Snyder Memorial Scholarship: $500 to Logan Fischer, son of Jesse and Tana Fischer.
—Buxton Family Memorial Scholarship: $500 to Logan Fischer, son of Jesse and Tana Fischer.
—Davis Family Educational
Grant: $1,000 to Taryn Tumblin, daughter of Andrew and Kristi Tumblin.

S. Scruggs Scholarship: $1,000 to Cael Summers, son of Dalton and Jessica
Summers.
—Dwight Fesler Memorial Scholarship: $1,000 to Lexa Guilliams, daughter
of Josh and Levin Guilliams.
—Honor Class of 1970 Scholarship: $500 to Ariana Wolfle, daughter of John and Mirasol
Wolfle.
—2025 Warsaw Alumni Scholarship: $500 to Ariana Wolfle, daughter of John and Mirasol Wolfle.
—David Snyder Senior Project Scholarship: $500 to Lexsey Newell,
daughter of Steve and Juanita Newell.
President Dave Dilly introduced former faculty members Mary
Louise Sexton Newell, Milton Baker, Anita Mowery and their guests, then invited
representatives from the honored classes of '45, '50, '55, '60, '65 and '70 of RV to present their attending classmates.
Carol Cooper Gilmore, representing the alumni nominating committee,
reported alumni officers for 2026. They are as follows: President Carol Cooper
Gilmore, '64; President Elect Merel Cooper, '59; Secretary/Treasurer Bee Buxton
Lehner, '66, RV; and Executive Committee Debbie Fenstermaker Darr, '66, RV.
