Shelby Theatre looking for anyone involved with the movie ‘Touchback’
Coshocton County residents invited to share stories before March 10 screening.
Kim and Jodi Lowe, owners of Shelby Theatre, are looking for anyone involved in the filming of the movie “Touchback,” which was filmed in Coshocton County. They believe it was in 2010.
“As part of America’s 250th (birthday), the State of Ohio picked movies as their theme so every county will be showing a movie. We picked 'Touchback' since part of it was filmed here,” the Lowes said. The movie will be shown March 10 at 7 p.m.
“We are going to have like a memory special starting at 6 p.m. before the movie. We are looking for anyone who wants to tell their story, whether they were in the movie or in any way connected to ‘Touchback.’ The family whose truck was used in the movie reached out to us, and hopefully, they will tell their story,” the Lowes said.
Ohio Goes to the Movies is a statewide celebration of movies. The chosen movies will highlight Ohio actors, composers, writers, directors and locations. Ohio Goes to the Movies will begin in the middle of February and run until October. For a list of special events, visit www.ohiogoestothemovies.org.
If interested in sharing your experience with the movie, call the movie theater at 740-622-6855.
