River View High School recognizes seniors Nathan Adams and Parker Andrews for leadership, academics, service and plans for engineering careers.

Nathan AdamsSubmitted
Nathan Adams is River View’s Elks Teen of the Month for November. He is the son of Ryan Adams and Emily and David Marrison of Coshocton.
Adams has been involved in the following school activities: class president, student council, National Honor Society, FFA president, cross country, track and field, Teen Leadership Corps, MVL Leadership Team, Lettermen’s Club, Den Leader, marching band, and jazz band.
His senior project is working to update the agriculture department trophy case by creating the River View FFA Wall of Achievement to honor FFA State and American Degree winners, past presidents, state and national officers, and national contest winners. He also will upload pictures of the ag trophies to the school’s kiosk.
Adams’ community service activities include volunteering at Mobile Market, helping with Grandparents’ Day at the elementary and intermediate schools, organizing a Teddy Bear Toss to donate stuffed animals to children in need, and participating in Adopt-a-Highway to pick up trash on U.S. 36.
Upon graduation he plans to attend Ohio State University to major in aerospace engineering.

Parker Andrews is River View’s Elks Teen of the Month for December. He is the son of Vince and Jodi Andrews of Coshocton.

Andrews has been involved in the following activities throughout high school: student council, National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, class vice president all four years, Teen Leadership Corps and Letterman’s Club. He was the 2025 homecoming king. He has been a member of the soccer, basketball and track teams all four years of high school. He was a member of the 2024 state championship soccer team and earned All-Ohio honors at the 2025 OHSAA state track meet in the 200-meter dash by placing seventh overall. He represented River View High School at the Adidas Track Nationals in Burlington, North Carolina last summer and placed 11th in the 200-meter dash.
Andrews worked with other senior soccer teammates for his senior project. They planned a soccer camp for the next generation of soccer players, planned the alumni soccer game and did other projects to help improve the RV Soccer Complex.
His community activities include volunteering at the Mobile Market and other service activities through NHS. He was a member of Magic Makers 4-H club for nine years.
After graduation he plans to attend a four-year college. He plans to major in civil engineering and hopes to continue his athletic career in track and field.
