River View girls bowling wins sectional
Lady Bears secure back-to-back titles at Boulevard Lanes, led by standout performances from Morgan Rowe and Karley Stocker.
On Feb. 9 the River View girls bowling team hosted the Indian Valley Lady Braves at Legacy Lanes. The Lady Bears rolled to a 1,994-1,670 victory to finish the regular season 12-0.
The Lady Bears were led by junior Karley Stocker with a 246 (PR) game and a 401 two-game set, sophomore Mya Dobson with a 341 two-game set, junior Kaylie Bryan with a 328 two-game set, and sophomore Morgan Rowe with a 306 two-game set.
On Feb. 11 the River View girls bowling team made the trip to Boulevard Lanes for the Division II East District Sectional Tournament. The Lady Bears battled all morning to shoot 3,331 for three regulation games and six Bakers games to finish as back-to-back sectional champions.
The Lady Bears were led by sophomore Morgan Rowe with a 256 (PR) game and a 544 series for a third-place finish in singles, junior Kaylie Bryan with a 517 series for a sixth-place finish in singles, junior Karley Stocker with a 486 series for a seventh-place finish in singles, freshman Kendall Duff with a 462 series for an 11th-place finish in singles, and sophomore Mya Dobson with a 437 series for a 15th-place finish in singles.
