Colton Gress named Player of the Year as Panthers make school history with dual victories

River View's varsity boys golf team won the big-school MVL Championship and sectional tournament.

The 2025 River View High School varsity boys golf team won the big-school MVL Golf Championship.

Colton Gress was co-medalist and the 2025 Player of the Year.

This is River View’s first MVL Golf Championship in school history.

The All-MVL team also included Colton Gress, Gavin Gress, Clark Frischen and Caleb Klein.

The team also won its first sectional tournament in school history at River Greens Golf Course. Gavin Gress shot a 68 and was the sectional medalist.
