Ridgewood boys notch first IVC win over Newcomerstown
Generals fire 213 in Sept. 8 match before falling to Tusky Valley the next day
The Ridgewood Generals boys varsity golf team picked up its first IVC win on Monday evening, Sept. 8 against the Newcomerstown Trojans. The Generals fired a score of 213, and the Trojans finished with 227.
Scoring for the Generals were Wade Thompson with a 46, Conrad Robinson with a 53, Kyle Johnson with a 57, Grady Alan with a 57, Aiden Mackenzie with a 60 (not scored) and Bowen Keen with a 60 (not scored).
Scoring for the Trojans were Braylon Kerr with a 46, Carter Fronsman with a 56, Wes Schilling with a 60 and Marshall Norman with a 65.
The Generals traveled to Wilkshire Golf Course on Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 9 to battle with the Trojans from Tusky Valley.
Tusky Valley came away victorious by a score of 169-198.
Scoring for the Generals were Collier Surgenor with a 45, Wade Thompson with a 48, Grady Alan with a 52, Aiden Mackenzie with a 53, Kyle Johnson with a 56 (not scored), Conrad Robinson with a 58 (not scored) and Bowen Keen with a 71 (JV).
