Information sought after accident

On July 17 at approximately 5:24 p.m. the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call in reference to an injury accident on TR 155, near 53188 TR 155 (Hickory Flats Golf Course), in Lafayette Township.

Upon arrival of deputies, it was determined that a pick-up truck had ran off the left edge of the roadway, struck a culvert, and ran into a retaining wall. Two unknown males, approximately 40 years of age, fled the scene on foot and were reportedly picked up by a third party a short distance away.

It is believed that the driver of the vehicle sustained a facial injury. If anyone has any information about the occupants, contact the sheriff’s office at 740-622-2411.
