Grief coach Kissner leads Half-Full meeting
Jon Kissner shares insights at grief meeting
Jon Kissner recently completed his formal training as a grief coach and shared his newfound awareness and his own personal experience with the Half-Full group March 26.
Kissner led the discussion on the myths of grief and announced his new FB page: Open Ground.
There were 20 participants, and Kay Bednarczuk played the keyboard with familiar hymns for a sing-along and accompanist during refreshments. More discussion included the many emotions experienced during and after the loss of loved ones and how those feelings can empower people to do something positive such as serve.
The next meeting will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 23 at Central Christian Church. Half-Full Bereavement Group is a Christ-centered grief support fellowship and is available to any who are grieving.
