Generals boys varsity golf team competes
Collier Surgenor is a sophomore at Ridgewood High School, and this is his first year golfing for the team.

The Generals boys varsity golf team competed in the Coshocton County Cup on Aug. 11 at River Greens Golf Course. The Generals fired their best round of the year with a 383 and got second place in the tournament.
Scoring for the Generals were Collier Surgenor with 84, Wade Thompson with 95, Kyle Johnson with 99, Conrad Robinson with 105, Aiden Mackenzie with 110 (not scored) and Grady Alan with 123 (not scored).
River View won the cup with a team score of 284. Scoring for River View was Gavin Gress with 67, Clark Frischen with 69, Colton Gress with 72 and Caleb Kline with 76.
Coshocton finished in third place with a team score of 389. Scoring for Coshocton was Bransyn Dawson with 77, Tristan Hartmeyer with 91, Jerison Spain with 106 and Calan Shaw with 115.
The Generals traveled to Wilkshire Golf Course to face off against Sandy Valley on Aug. 13. Sandy Valley came away victorious by a final score of 184-203.
Scoring for the Generals were Wade Thompson with 47, Collier Surgenor with 49, Conrad Robinson with 52, Kyle Johnson with 55, Aiden Mackenzie with 56 (not scored) and Grady Alan with 56 (not scored).
The Generals took on East Canton at River Greens Golf Course on Aug. 14. Ridgewood lost a tight one by a score of 185-187.
Scoring for the Generals were Collier Surgenor with 43, Wade Thompson with 45, Kyle Johnson with 49 and Conrad Robinson with 50.
