Schumaker Farms hosted its first sweet corn festival Aug. 9-10. Not only did they have some great food both days, but also great family fun including giant slides, games, hamster wheels, a corn maze, a straw maze, hayrides, some vintage tractors to see from the Coshocton Antique Tractor Club, and farm animals including goats, donkeys, pot belly pigs and peacocks.

The 2025 West Lafayette Junior Queen Lily Edwards and Bakersville 2025 Little Tractor Princess Layla Smith attended the festival.

"As pageant queens they visit a certain amount of festivals, and since they are little, we can choose the festival, and this is one of them," Layla's mom Joy Smith said. "Then we can spread the word about our festivals, and hopefully more people will come next year.”

Lucas Albert, 11, Briella Albert, 7, and Gianna Albert, 5, were having a great time on the giant slides and hamster wheels with their grandparents.
