Our Town Coshocton
Coshocton summer events boost local businesses
Downtown Coshocton hosts clean-up efforts, shop local programs and concerts from May to September
As we move into the summer season, there’s a noticeable excitement growing throughout downtown Coshocton, and it’s well deserved. At Our Town Coshocton, we have a full lineup of programs, events and opportunities designed to bring people together, support our local businesses and continue building momentum in our community.
One of the initiatives I am especially excited about this year is our One Block at a Time clean-up effort put on through our design committee. These take place from 9 a.m. to noon the third Saturday of each month, running May through November (May 16, June 20, July 18, Aug. 15, Sept. 19, Oct. 17 and Nov. 21).
This initiative is all about rolling up our sleeves and taking pride in our downtown — one block at a time. Whether it’s picking up debris, freshening up public spaces or simply showing up to help, these small efforts truly add up to a big impact.
We’re also thrilled to bring back our second annual Hometown Perks Program, kicking off Friday, May 22 and running through Monday, Sept. 7. This summerlong shop local program is a fun and interactive way to encourage both residents and visitors to explore all Coshocton has to offer.
Participants can pick up a passport, visit participating businesses and collect stickers along the way. Once completed, passports can be entered into a prize drawing. It’s a simple concept with a powerful purpose supporting our small businesses and creating more foot traffic throughout our downtown.
And, of course, summer wouldn’t be complete without our 2026 Summer Concert Series. We are excited to welcome an incredible lineup of entertainment this year:
—Blizzard of Ozz Saturday, June 20 at 7:30 p.m.
—7 Bridges Saturday, July 18 at 7:30 p.m.
—The Weeklings Saturday, Aug. 15 at 7:30 p.m.
—E5C4P3 Sunday, Sept. 13 at 3 p.m.
These concerts are more than just great music; they are opportunities for our community to gather, enjoy downtown and support surrounding businesses before and after the shows.
There is truly so much happening this summer, and none of it would be possible without the support and involvement of our community. I strongly encourage you to find a way to get involved — whether that’s volunteering your time, attending events, or simply making a conscious effort to shop and dine locally.
At Our Town Coshocton, we often say we want to be part of the solution, not the problem, and that mindset extends to our entire community. When we show up, support one another and take pride in where we live, we all play a role in shaping a stronger, more vibrant Coshocton.
We’re looking forward to a summer full of connection, growth and positive momentum, and we hope to see you downtown.
