The Coshocton County Chamber of Commerce is starting a new women-only mentorship program, and volunteers are needed.

“The Empower HER Mentorship Program is a women-only initiative in Coshocton County designed to foster confidence, connection and growth across generations,” said Heather Stoffer, who is assisting with the program. “It pairs women mentors and mentees to build lasting relationships through guidance, shared stories and community engagement.”

Interested participants can apply to be a mentor or mentee on the chamber website at www.coshoctonchamber.com.

“Mentees are women navigating career, life or leadership transitions who are seeking support and affirmation,” Stoffer said. “Mentors are experienced women leaders and professionals who want to share their wisdom and uplift others.”

Monthly one-on-one mentorship sessions will be held. These will include group workshops on topics such as confidence and leadership and participation in community service events. There will be orientation and training for mentors and ongoing feedback and engagement throughout the program.

“Mentor-mentee pairs will be selected through a thoughtful application and matching process to ensure compatibility and meaningful connection,” Stoffer said.

The program is scheduled to start in 2026. Applications will open Saturday, Nov. 1 and close Monday, Dec. 1. Anyone with questions about the program can email Stoffer at heatherstoffer@gmail.com.
