Christmas Magic in Lights raises funds for three local groups
More than 700 vehicles attended the Coshocton County Fairgrounds display, generating donations for REACT, Firefighters Toy Chest and Miracle on Wheels
Christmas Magic in Lights Dec. 6 at the Coshocton County Fairgrounds was a huge hit this year. A total of 706 cars drove through to see the 50 displays set up by various businesses, clubs and organizations from the community.
“A huge thank-you to the Miller family for the donation of so many items in memory of Jean Miller,” said D Woodward Wells, one of the event organizers. “Thank you to everyone who participated and attended. We appreciate your continued support.”
The cost of viewing the displays continued to be by donation only, and proceeds helped benefit three local groups.
On Thursday, Dec. 11, $200 was donated to REACT, $1,500 to Coshocton Firefighters Toy Chest and $1,500 to Coshocton County Miracle on Wheels.
“This truly shows the bond the community has for those in need, and that’s why it continues to grow every year,” said Ron Seitz, fair board. “It’s not always about the glitz and glamour of a big, fancy light show. Sometimes it’s just about doing what’s right for your community.”
The 2026 Christmas Magic in Lights is already being planned for Dec. 4 at the fairgrounds.
“Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all,” Woodward Wells said.
