Bowling Black Bears make history

On Feb. 27 the Black Bears traveled to HP Lanes for the State District II Championship tournament. The Bears battled hard all day and were 15th out of 16 teams.

Leading the way for the Black Bears was junior Kolton Duff with a three game series of 546, freshman Colton Gress with a three game series of 530, senior Carter Hammersley with a three game set of 497, senior Konner Mercer with a three game set of 485, and sophomore Gavin Gress with a three game series of 458.

The Black Bears accomplished something that has never been done in River View history. They were the first team to make it to state as a team in eight years of bowling.
