Blue Star Mothers, Salvation Army to host military appreciation breakfast
Free event Nov. 15 honors Coshocton County veterans with breakfast, guest speaker and military displays.
The Blue Star Mothers and the Coshocton Salvation Army will host a military appreciation event for all Coshocton County veterans and their spouses Saturday, Nov. 15 from 9-11 a.m. at The Salvation Army on Chestnut Street in Coshocton.
A free breakfast will consist of sausage gravy, biscuits, scrambled eggs, orange juice and coffee.
The guest speaker will be John Fletcher. He was a Marine for four years and finished up retiring as a staff sergeant in the Army National Guard. He served in Vietnam and Desert Shield.
The event also will include a military display with lots of military history information and the World War II panels that were displayed on the courthouse lawn.
Enter The Salvation Army’s gym by way of the Chestnut Street door and bring a nonperishable food donation.
