Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office reports driver accidentally accelerated, pinning worker before rescue and transport to hospital
On Dec. 9 at approximately 12:09 p.m., the Coshocton County Sheriff's Office received a call in reference to an accident with injury located at 134 S. Second St. in Coshocton.
Upon arrival of emergency personnel, it was determined Ervin Raber, 67, of Coshocton was pulling into the garage bay at the Star Brite Express Lube when he accelerated his vehicle instead of braking, pinning the attendant Thomas Wilson, 57, of Coshocton between the vehicle and the garage door.
Wilson was able to be freed after the vehicle was moved away from the door. Wilson was transported to Genesis of Coshocton by emergency squad.
Assisting the sheriff's office on scene was Coshocton County EMS and Coshocton Fire Department.
