3 transported after July 9 accident

On July 9, the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call in reference to an injury accident on US 36, near TR 111, in Newcastle Township.

Upon arrival of deputies, it was determined that Roston Miller, 22, of Port Washington, was traveling west on US 36, followed by Melinda Angle, 40, of Coshocton. Roston Miller hit his breaks due to deer entering the roadway, and Angle rear-ended his vehicle.

Miller had one passenger, Abigail Beland, 20, of Lennon, MI. Miller and Beland were transported to Genesis Coshocton by Coshocton County EMS with non-life-threatening injuries.

Angle was transported to Coshocton Regional Medical Center by Coshocton County EMS with non-life-threatening injuries.

Assisting at the scene were Coshocton County EMS, Walhonding Valley Fire District, and Prince’s Wrecker Service.
