2 car accident reported on Chestnut Street

On May 6 at approximately 6:02 p.m. the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call in reference to an injury accident on Chestnut Street, near North Second Street in Coshocton.

Upon arrival of deputies, it was determined that Debra Brown of Coshocton was traveling west on Chestnut Street, and Jeremey Sammons Jr. of Coshocton was following behind her. Brown stopped at the intersection of Chestnut and North Second Street, and Sammons rear-ended her.

Sammons had one passenger, Courtney Tom of Frazeysburg.

Brown was transported to CRMC by Coshocton County EMS with non-life-threatening injuries. Sammons and Tom were both transported to Genesis Coshocton by Coshocton County EMS with non-life-threatening injuries.

Assisting at the scene were Coshocton County EMS, Coshocton City Fire District, Prince’s Wrecker Service, and REACT.
