Wooster/Orrville NAACP awards scholarships

The Wooster/Orrville NAACP recently awarded scholarships totaling $8,200 to five area students from Wooster and Orrville high schools.

Recipients from Wooster High School are Jaden Clay, who will attend Ohio University; Amara Hendrix, who will attend University of Akron Wayne College; Jaiyana Pearson, the Charles Follis Scholarship recipient, who will attend the University of Akron; and Audriana Yeagley, who will attend Purdue University Fort Wayne.

The recipient from Orrville High School is Makiya Lovett, who will attend the University of Dayton.
