Concert & Cruise-In returns to downtown Wooster
Event will include music, specialty vehicles and local food trucks
Downtown Wooster will host the annual Concert & Cruise-In from 6:30-9 p.m. June 19 in partnership with the city of Wooster.
The free community event is open to the public. No registration is required.
Live entertainment will be provided by local band BLACKOUT. Attendees also can walk through downtown and view a variety of classic and specialty vehicles participating in the cruise-in.
Two food trucks will be present at the event: Oma Gourd Handcrafted Tacos and Travelin’ Tom’s Coffee of Greater Wooster.
“This event is a wonderful opportunity for families, friends and visitors to gather in the heart of downtown Wooster and enjoy a summer evening together,” said Kerri Kiel, Main Street Wooster’s project manager.
“This Concert & Cruise-In, as well as the one we have scheduled for Aug. 14, give our locally owned downtown restaurants a nice boost in customers,” said Shannon Waller, executive director. “That serves our mission to keep downtown Wooster thriving.”
The Concert & Cruise-In is made possible through the partnership of the city of Wooster and the support of event sponsors Simonson Construction Services and The Marketing Engine.
