Orrville Arts Fest returns to Depot Park
Free festival will feature music, theater, artists, authors, crafters and food
The second annual Orrville Arts Fest will take place June 28 at the city’s new amphitheater in Depot Park.
Organized by the Orrville Community Theater Board, the free festival will run from 1-9:30 p.m. and feature authors, music, theater, visual art, handmade crafts, food and community connection.
The purpose of the festival is to unite the community through artistic expression and provide a platform for performers, artists, authors and crafters. Proceeds from the event will be shared between the Orrville Community Theater and the Orrville Community Band to help sustain their programs and support the cultural life of Orrville and Wayne County.
The Orrville Arts Fest is designed not only as a one-day celebration, but also as a way to build an ongoing network of local artists who support one another, collaborate and keep the arts visible in everyday community life.
The festival will begin at 1 p.m., with artists, vendors and food trucks open throughout the day. Live performances will start at 1:30 p.m. with Christian music by Denny Miller & Blue Starr.
A lineup of drum and bugle corps performances will begin at 3 p.m. En-Rich-Ment, an urban youth performance group and affiliate of the Bluecoats Drum & Bugle Corps from Canton, will perform, followed by Eclipse Drum & Bugle Corps from Indianapolis, Cincinnati Tradition Drum & Bugle Corps, Rogues Hollow Regiment Drum & Bugle Corps from Doylestown and Rhythm In Blue, a SoundSport ensemble from Canton.
The Orrville Community Theater also will present a skit. The evening will continue with live music by American Pride, a local country band, and close with ’90s cover band Socrates and the Philosophers.
Throughout the day the festival will feature artists, authors and crafters displaying and selling their work, along with food trucks offering a variety of options for families and visitors. Authors and artisans who want to share and show their work without selling are welcome to participate at no cost. They are asked to register in advance and reserve a space.
Festival organizers are seeking event sponsors, artists, vendors, crafters and food trucks to participate in the 2026 Arts Fest. For more information or to become a participant or sponsor, visit www.OrrvilleArtsFest.org.
