Wooster will welcome hundreds of cyclists from across the region as the Great Ohio Bicycle Adventure makes a stop in the community June 23-25.

GOBA is a multiday cycling tour that brings riders of all ages and skill levels together to explore scenic routes, communities and Ohio’s countryside. During its three-day stay in Wooster, participants will have access to local businesses, community activities and routes throughout Wayne County.

“We’re excited to showcase Wooster and all of Wayne County to visitors from across Ohio and beyond,” said Wayne County CVB Executive Director Shannon Carter. “This event provides a wonderful opportunity to highlight our downtowns, restaurants, retail, parks and the strong sense of community that makes Wayne County special.”

Cyclists arriving in Wooster can expect designated camping and lodging options, food vendors and local dining, live entertainment and community activities, and access to scenic cycling routes throughout Wayne County.

The event is expected to bring a positive economic impact to the area, benefiting local restaurants, shops and service providers while promoting tourism in Wooster and the surrounding region.

Residents are encouraged to welcome riders, volunteer or attend community events scheduled throughout the visit. Motorists should be aware of increased bicycle traffic and follow posted safety guidelines during the event.

GOBA promotes healthy lifestyles, outdoor recreation and community connection. For more information about GOBA and event details, visit https://outdoor-pursuits.org/goba-2/.
