WaCPAC to present 'Madagascar Jr.'
Family-friendly musical opens June 12 at Fisher Auditorium in Wooster
WaCPAC will present “Madagascar Jr.,” a musical adventure based on the animated film.
The family-friendly production includes young performers, songs, characters and humor for audiences of all ages. Performances will take place at 7 p.m. June 12, 13 and 19 and at 2 p.m. June 14 and 20 at Fisher Auditorium, 1680 Madison Ave., Wooster.
The story follows Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Melman the Giraffe and Gloria the Hippo as they escape from New York’s Central Park Zoo and unexpectedly find themselves on the wild island of Madagascar. The production includes songs, dance numbers, and themes of friendship and adventure.
Young performers from across the region are featured in the production, which includes colorful costumes, choreography and musical numbers.
