Browse dealer booths, view philatelic exhibits, join a 3:30 p.m. silent auction, and let kids dig into thousands of stamps at Ida Sue School, 9 a.m.–5 p.m.; beginners welcome and on-site evaluations available.
The Wooster Stamp Club will hold its 62nd annual Stamp Show at Ida Sue School, 266 Oldman Rd. in Wooster, on Saturday, Nov. 1 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Wooster Philatelic Exhibition offers free admission and has ample parking.
The show will have displays of stamps and related items for attendees to view. A six-dealer bourse from northeast Ohio will buy and sell worldwide and United States stamps, postcards, covers (envelopes of postal history) and supplies.
A silent auction of dozens of items will be held at 3:30 p.m. The sign-up list is at the registration table.
There will be an area where kids or beginners can sort through thousands of stamps. Attendees with an old collection or just a few stamps they want to have evaluated can ask any club member.
The Wooster Stamp Club meets on the third Thursday of each month at the Trinity United Church of Christ, 150 E. North St., Wooster. The location is at the northwest corner of North and Buckeye streets, where parking is on the north side of the building off Buckeye Street. To reach the meeting room, enter the building, go up six steps (elevator available), turn left and go down the hall. The room is on the left. Programs and auctions take place at each meeting beginning at 6:30 p.m. Visitors and new members are welcome.
