Dear Wooster community,
With the school year well underway, we continue to look for new ways to enhance student safety and strengthen communication with families. I’m pleased to share Wooster City Schools has launched the BusRight app, a free and easy-to-use tool that tracks bus arrival times and routes in real time.
BusRight allows parents and guardians to do the following:
Annonse
—Track buses in real time to see where your child’s bus is and when it will arrive.
—Receive alerts and notifications about route changes, traffic delays or weather-related updates.
—Confirm safe arrivals when your child reaches school or home.
—View routes for one or multiple children in one convenient place.
Our goal in introducing BusRight is to strengthen communication with families and make transportation planning more convenient. From construction delays to snowy weather, the app keeps you informed about your child’s bus location and estimated arrival time.
If you haven’t downloaded the app yet, here’s how to get started:
—Watch for an email invitation from Wooster City Schools with a link to download BusRight for iOS or Android.
—Follow the steps in the email to create your account and verify your address.
—Set your notification preferences to receive updates when the bus leaves the depot, is a few minutes away or arrives at your home.
Once you’re logged in, you’ll have everything you need to stay informed about your child’s transportation schedule in real time. To ensure the safety of all students, the BusRight app can only be accessed by invitation. To have your BusRight Parent Invitation resent, call Transportation Secretary Kelly Lawson at 330-988-1111 ext. 1601 or email transportationoffice@woostercityschools.org and include your name and home address.
BusRight is already helping families stay informed, save time and communicate more easily with our transportation team. Thank you for your continued partnership in keeping our students safe, from the classroom to the bus stop and everywhere in between.
