Wooster players earn Ohio Cardinal Conference honors
Baseball and softball standouts recognized with all-conference awards
Wooster had several players earn Ohio Cardinal Conference all-conference honors for the 2026 baseball and softball seasons.
In baseball, Wooster sophomore Maddox Graser was named Co-Player of the Year along with New Philadelphia senior Owen Courtney. Wooster senior Brian Lapp was named Pitcher of the Year.
Wooster also had several baseball players earn all-conference recognition. Sophomore Nick Rader, junior Brock Bowen and sophomore Wesley Wheeler were named first team. Junior Aiden McMillen was named second team, while freshman Sam Wengerd and junior Lucas Shiplett earned honorable mention.
New Philadelphia’s Tyler Weisel was named Coach of the Year.
In softball, Wooster freshman Kayla Reid was named Player of the Year. Freshman Avery Williams was named first team, while junior McKenzie Dorris was named second team. Junior Sydney McAfoos and freshman Averee Karazsia earned honorable mention.
Dover senior Kara Lint was named Pitcher of the Year, and Dover’s Hannah Duff was named Coach of the Year.
