Wayne Center for the Arts is welcoming Best of 2025, a
juried exhibition organized by the Ohio Craft Museum, to its Gault Gallery and
Looney Workshop this fall.
Featuring contemporary fine crafts by 65 artists from across
the state, the exhibition will be on view Aug. 28 through Oct. 23 and is free.
An opening reception will be held Thursday, Aug. 28 from 5-7
p.m. at Wayne Center for the Arts to meet local artists
and celebrate the arrival of this exhibition in Wooster.
Juror Michele Tuegel, founding executive director of Florida
Craftsmen Inc., selected 81 works in clay, glass, metal, wood, fiber and mixed media from
nearly 400 entries. Sixteen artists received Awards of Excellence in Ohio Designer Craftsmen’s
annual members competition.
“We are thrilled to bring Best of 2025 to our community,”
said Sara Starr Brink, executive director of Wayne Center for the Arts. “This exhibition is
an inspiring showcase of creativity, craftsmanship and innovation, and we’re proud to make it
accessible to everyone.”
