Steve Poltz to headline Lyric Theater concert Oct. 21 in Wooster
Doors open at 7 p.m.; Wooster native Gretchen Pleuss opens at 7:30 as the Nashville songwriter—known for collaborations with Jewel and Billy Strings—continues the PNC-backed Live at the Lyric series.

The Lyric Theater announced the next musical performer scheduled to appear in the Live at the Lyric! Presented by PNC 2025-26 concert series.
Steve Poltz will appear at the Lyric Theater in Wooster on Oct. 21. Poltz is a Nashville-based singer-songwriter known for his collaborations, ranging from Jewel and Billy Strings to Molly Tuttle, Sierra Hull, Nicki Bluhm, Oliver Wood and the late Mojo Nixon, and for his live performances.
Doors will open at 7 p.m., and Wooster native Gretchen Pleuss will kick off the evening at 7:30 p.m.
Live at the Lyric! Presented by PNC is made possible by a PNC Foundation grant. Additional support comes from an ArtSTART grant from the Ohio Arts Council and from local sponsors including Blackbird Records, Briggs & Starr Wealth Management, Caribou Coffee, City Square Steakhouse, Kelly Brunn Passion Fund, Mariola Italian, Milltown Family Dental, St Paul Hotel, Seaman Corporation, Western Reserve Group and Wooster Eye Center.

South St. in downtown Wooster, opened to the public in February after a major renovation. The theater brings movies, live events and art to the downtown area. It works to strengthen the local economy, joining with local partners to create an arts environment in Wooster, Wayne and surrounding counties.
