State Rep. Craig recognizes Traci Poulson for 30 years of public service
Wayne County Clerk of Courts employee honored for integrity, professionalism and dedication to government service
Traci Poulson has dedicated three decades of her career to serving the people of Wayne County, earning the respect of colleagues, elected officials and now the recognition of the State of Ohio.
State Rep. Meredith Craig commended Poulson for her honesty, astuteness and integrity, saying she has conducted herself in the highest tradition of American jurisprudence throughout her 30 years in government, currently serving in the Clerk of Courts Office.
Poulson is a trusted presence.
“You are held in high regard by your colleagues and associates. Indeed, you have demonstrated an unwavering dedication to performing your duties and fulfilling your responsibilities with the utmost professionalism and competence,” Craig said, reading from a letter of recognition.
Poulson’s career serves as a reminder that a career in government service is not only meaningful, but also rewarding. Employees are valued for their work, respected by elected officials and supported by colleagues who share a commitment to the public good.
“Traci is dedicated, hardworking and a true team player,” Clerk of Courts Scott Wiggam said. “I feel fortunate to have her as part of our team, and Wayne County has greatly benefited from her service over the past 30 years.”
Public service in Wayne County provides a competitive benefits package that includes 11 paid holidays per year, sick and vacation leave with a rollover policy, participation in a strong retirement system, comprehensive health benefits, and a supportive and collaborative team environment.
“I think people should consider working in public service, especially here in Wayne County,” Poulson said. “For someone starting in their career, it offers growth and educational possibilities, and I am grateful to have had the chance to work here for 30 years.”
