Christmas is coming, and the season will be celebrated with the annual Christmas Carol Celebration at Smithville Brethren Church Sunday, Dec. 7 at 2 p.m. at 193 E. Main St. in Smithville. Families and friends are invited to an afternoon of music featuring the choir, handbell choir, and various soloists and musicians, with a punch and cookie reception to follow the service.
