Ribbon cutting marks launch of new Orrville community outreach services
The Viola Startzman Clinic and Community Action partner to provide free weekly assistance for housing, food, healthcare and recovery support at Five Voices in Orrville.
The Viola Startzman Clinic and Community Action have partnered to provide free outreach services to the Orrville community, made possible through the support of the Mental Health & Recovery Board of Wayne and Holmes Counties.
The Orrville Area Chamber of Commerce celebrated the launch of this community resource with a ribbon cutting Oct. 21, marking the beginning of expanded access to essential services for local residents.
Available services include housing assistance, access to food resources and SNAP applications, transportation support, help with Medicaid and Social Security applications, mental health services, medical care, psychiatric services, employment and job-readiness support, child care referrals, utility assistance, clothing and hygiene resources, and substance-use recovery connections.
Services are offered every Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on a first come, first served basis at Five Voices, 516 W. High St., Orrville.
All personal information is kept confidential, secure and never shared. The partnership prioritizes respect, privacy and dignity for every individual seeking assistance.
