Orrville Community Chorus to present 80th annual 'Messiah' performance Dec. 7
The annual holiday tradition returns to Central Christian School in Kidron, featuring a 65-member chorus, professional soloists and orchestra under the direction of Laurel Labbe.
The Orrville Community Chorus will present its 80th annual performance of "Messiah" by George Frederic Handel Sunday, Dec. 7 at 7 p.m. at Central Christian School in Kidron. Admission is $12. Students through sixth grade will be admitted free.
The chorus, directed by Laurel Labbe, has 65 members representing a six-county area. Soloists are Lara Troyer, soprano; Denise Milner Howell, mezzo-soprano; Timothy Culver, tenor; and Brian Keith Johnson, baritone. A 12-member orchestra accompanies the chorus.
