Jarrett Supply Chain Summit raises $100K for Heartland Education Community

The third annual Jarrett Supply Chain Summit recently wrapped up with record-breaking attendance, bringing supply chain industry experts together in August. The summit was followed by the Hearts for Heartland Benefit Concert, a live concert and auction featuring Grammy-nominated country music artist Hunter Hayes.

The two-day summit kicked off with a VIP dinner at the Pro Football Hall of Fame, featuring Cris Carter, NFL Hall of Famer, who gave a message of hard work and perseverance. Day two of the conference was hosted at the Kent State Stark Conference Center and featured executive transportation panel discussions, supply chain finance, and presentations on the impact and future of tariffs.

Artificial intelligence was top of mind, and keynote speaker Zack Kass, futurist and former head of market at OpenAI, assured transportation leaders that AI is here and is the way of the future.

That evening community leaders, business partners, sponsors and supporters gathered at Jarrett headquarters in Orrville for the Hearts for Heartland Benefit Concert. Silent and live auctions, along with private donations, resulted in a donation of $100,000 for the Heartland Education Community. The funds will support various student-centered initiatives including character education, extended learning opportunities and mentorship resources. This contribution will directly support the organization's work to create stronger educational opportunities and community-centered learning environments.
