The Apple Creek Banking Company recently announced the addition of Colby Chamberlin as vice president and commercial loan officer.
Chamberlin joins The Apple Creek Banking Company with more than 25 years of experience in community banking within Wayne and Holmes counties.
Since beginning his career in 1998, Chamberlin has built a reputation as a trusted career lender, specializing over the past two decades in commercial lending, treasury management and depository solutions.
“We are extremely pleased and excited to welcome Colby to our strong team of community bankers,” said Jeff Smith, executive vice president and chief lending officer. "Colby is a true community banker who brings a wealth of experience and knowledge, with deep connections and dedicated service within the Orrville, Wooster and Wayne County communities.”
Chamberlin holds a bachelor’s degree from Bowling Green State University and is a graduate of Leadership Wooster, Leadership Holmes County and The Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He has contributed extensively to the region through his board service with Goodwill Industries of Wayne & Holmes Counties, Hospice of Wayne County, The Children’s Advocacy Center, The Wayne Holmes Association of Realtors, and the Wooster Lacrosse Club.
In addition to his professional achievements, Chamberlin remains engaged in the community. He currently serves as a mentor with OHuddle and as a member of the Main Street Wooster Economic Development Committee.
Chamberlin and his wife Jocelyn live in Wooster with their five children, four cats and one dog.
