Blacksmiths to gather in Kidron March 21
Western Reserve Artist Blacksmith Association hosts hammer-in at Sonnenberg Village
The Western Reserve Artist Blacksmith Association will hold a hammer-in meeting Saturday, March 21, at the Saurer Blacksmith Shop in historic Sonnenberg Village on Hackett Road in Kidron.
The meeting will begin at 9 a.m. and will feature demonstrations by the host, who typically presents new processes, tools or creations designed to inspire members’ creativity. Members also share and display items they have made.
Participants will gather for a potluck lunch at noon in the Sonnenberg Village Welcome Center.
The Western Reserve Artist Blacksmith Association is one of three blacksmith organizations in Ohio and primarily serves members from northeast Ohio. The meeting is open to anyone interested in learning about the group and potentially becoming a member.
