Water main project to impact traffic, parking
For the week of Aug. 18, the contractor will continue pavement restoration on West Liberty Street, South Elmwood Avenue and West Washington Street. Crews may also work on sidewalk and curb restoration along West Liberty Street and South Elmwood Avenue.
Traffic on West Liberty Street will be maintained in the westbound direction, using the south lane while work occurs in the north lane. Once pavement restoration is complete, West Liberty Street will reopen.
Traffic on South Elmwood Avenue between West Liberty Street and West Washington Street will be maintained in the west lane while pavement restoration occurs in the east lane. Once the work is complete, South Elmwood Avenue will reopen.
West Washington Street between South Elmwood Avenue and South Vine Street will remain closed to through traffic while pavement restoration is underway.
