The Medina County Veterans Memorial Hall presented a special plaque to thank the Buehler’s Fresh Foods Corporation for its many years of supporting veterans in its store locations. The plaque, representing all Buehler’s corporate locations, was presented at Buehler’s River Styx location.

Medina Veterans Hall Board President Dave Taylor said the presentation to Buehler’s Foods is “special to us.”

“For over 30 years we have been able to be at their store locations, perhaps once per year for each member-organization, to ask for donations to support our programs to serve veterans in need,” Taylor said. “We stay out of the way for customers entering and exiting, but many customers, including a lot of veterans, are happy to stop and chat with us, and donate. The good that Buehler’s customer donations have made in these many years are incalculable”

The Medina County Veterans Memorial Hall is composed of four veterans’ organizations (three county-wide: American Veterans 1990, Disabled Americans Veterans 72 and Vietnam Veterans of America 385. The Hall co-owners also include Medina City American Legion Post 202, the oldest veteran’s organization in Medina County, celebrating 106 years of existence.

“Buehler’s is proud to support Veterans in the communities we serve,” Buehler’s Marketing Director Jen Hudson said: We look forward to our continued partnership and are humbled to receive this award.”
